Those quotes are the “White Moderates” that MLK Jr. warned us about decades ago
Black people: kidnap, torture and beat white people because fuck trump. Black Activists: White people have privilege
Those hypothetical examples don’t correlate at all though and completely miss the point of the screenshot. That one example doesn’t negate hundreds of years of privilege OR the fact that the majority of hate crimes are actually directed at black people so…I mean, it is just so illogical to make that point considering white people did just that around the same time as your “example” and were barely held accountable (if at all) which still proves that white privilege is a thing…since you made that irrational and irresponsible statement you already managed to prove their point.
Like, the fact that you took that screenshot and turned in into a attack on black people (and only black people, out of all of those examples) shows that you’re an anti-black racist using common derailment and dogwhistle tactics.
The table under the journal is lacquered with ants.
The person holding the skull-creamed coffee paints the underside of their nails. Either that or their natural nails grow red.
The journal’s writing, intentionally made hard to read and partially obscured, is somewhat of a cheat to all the things amiss in the scene. (http://comments.deviantart.com/1/661961724/4372574544) I can make out: “… and eyeball … have to think he is less strange than the horrifying creature that seems to have inhabited the cabinet behind him … all tentacles and teeth … (obscured by cup) … Where in the world can be found such nightmares?!”
Reblogging for the correct source (I didn’t even notice the OP wasn’t the artist oops).
There is also one called “Clocky”, an alarm clock that runs away and hides if you don’t get out of bed on time. When the alarm sounds you can snooze one time. If you still don’t wake up, Clocky will jump off of the bedside table, and wheel away, mindlessly bumping into objects until he finds a spot to rest. You’ll have to get up and out of bed to silence his alarm. Clocky will find new spots everyday, kind of like a hide-and-seek game.
The Drill Sergeant Alarm Clock will continue to insult you from one of the 10 phrases stored in the clock until you wake up.
This alarm clock wakes you up with bacon
The Smash Alarm Clock. You literally smash the top to shut it off.
The Flying Alarm Clock. Once the alarm sounds, the helicopter flies away and the only way to shut it off is to return it back to it’s base.
The Target Alarm Clock. As soon as the alarm rings you have to aim and fire the laser gun. Once you hit the bullseye the alarm will shut off.
Mr Bump allows you to physically throw your alarm clock against the wall to turn it off in the morning.
Never knew there was an alarm clock fandom until today
Context: I’m dming for the first time for a group of friends who’ve never played before either, and we decided to do a simple, tutorial-like campaign just to test the waters. The game starts in a prison that they were SUPPOSED to escape from within the first half-hour to get on to the fun part, except that two of the five players got critical failures on their stealth rolls and now the guards are coming.
Rogue: I roll to persuade the guard to fight the other guards
DM (me): I- okay, I mean, you can try but-
Rogue: *rolls a fourteen*
DM (me): …what are you saying?
Rogue: I’m convincing him to fight?
DM (me): no like, what words are coming out of your mouth? You can’t just magically persuade by getting good rolls you need to actually say something to get him to do what you want
Rogue: oh… uh…. I tell him that I have a lot of wealth and money and will give him some if he helps get us out of here!
DM (me): … I’m…. I’m giving you disadvantage on this
Rogue: what? why?
DM (me): you, a bloodied and dirt-covered prisoner, convicted of theft on the outside and then murder once you were already in jail, sentenced to death and caught trying to escape, are telling this hired muscle, this working family man, that you are actually rich, and are trying to bribe him to fight his co-workers to the death. I am giving you disadvantage on this roll.
Rogue: … *rolls a three*
DM (me): the guard swings his sword towards you and strikes you for three damage
I am Silver Tongue, I am an artist. I have many characters and you can check out my art in the art tag. I occasionally practice witchcraft though I don't do anything too complicated. I am girl 2 and don't know what else to put here.
