This hotel reminds you to steal the toiletries!

I work in hotels/resorts, and honestly, take the little shampoos and soaps! We throw them away when you leave (we don’t know if you’ve opened them and messed with them or whatever, so for health and safety it all goes in the trash)
If you stay at the fancier places or chains, they’ve actually done some bit of thought into the scents for the toiletries, in that if you use them while at home you’ll remember the time you stayed at the hotel and be more likely to return.

Just don’t take the towels or the robes or any of that shit, it’s expensive.

2017 - The #FreeSpeechBus tour has ended, in total failure.

The tour, which was supposed to hit US cities on the east coast and organize a wide variety of rallies, press conferences, and protests, by and large never materialized, was kept completely off schedule, was physically run (or driven) out of various towns, and in some cities, was never even able to set foot on the ground.

First, in New York, the bus was attacked and vandalized, which took it off the road for several days, knocking it off it’s schedule. By the time the bus was up and running again, it had become both a lightning rod and a laughing stock, generating a social media storm and a negative spotlight on organizers who gave a radio interview that essentially endorsed a genocidal policy against trans people.

As the ‘tour’ attempted to continue, so did demonstrations and disruptions. In New Haven, people even rented a U-Haul, fitted it with pro-trans signs, and pushed the bus out of the city and stopped it’s rally from ever happening. In Philadelphia, a mass militant confrontation took place, forcing the bus once again to quickly depart. In Boston, protesters surrounded the bus, and in other cities it appears that the stops the bus planned to make – never happened. [article]/[video]/[video]/[video]/[video]

Dogs on TV always look so stiff. Like they’re supposed to be just sitting there but you can tell that the dog is like “!!!! Am good boy!!! Am hold position!!! Am look off stage at handler!!! Hi handler!!! Ready your finest treats for the good boy!!!”

My favorite are dogs who are supposed to be fierce but are so clearly playing at it. Just dubbing in growls can’t change that butt-wiggle of “I’m doing THE THING and soon I’ll get PRAISE and play with MY TOY”

Yes. This too.

#fun fact#for the wolves in the lion the witch and the wardrobe they used wolf dog hybrids#and the scene where they descend on the dam and start tearing it apart#all scary and what have you #anyway#they had to cgi new tails for each wolf because the dogs were just so happy to dig up this dam#and it didn’t look very threatening when these scary wolves have wagging tails as they dig via imafangirlidontdocalm

alcohol culture is so wild…people all over fb will be sharing a meme like “i can’t have just one glass of wine, it’s always 2 bottles and 3 people i can never look in the eye again” as if that’s normal? but if a meme like that was going around about cocaine or any other drug, everyone would be like “sounds like a drug problem bruh”

alcoholism is SO normalized and it’s such a toxic environment honestly

It’s crazy !!!

yeah i think a huge issue w alcohol culture is not peer pressure, but peer normalization.

like people just dont realize that binge drinking, or even just having alcohol frequently can constitute as having an alcohol problem bc its viewed as being fun or just part of also party culture when in reality its really not and is super damaging to your body, your relationships, and is a super poor coping mechanism

when you successfully resist a self-destructive impulse
