I fucking love how the argument is “Well you could afford X fancy thing so you should be able to afford Y healthcare.” with no disregard of the fact that Y healthcare could literally be a million times more expensive than a stupid sofa. Like, this is how you treat a child who bought ice cream over like a toy of the same cost. “I’m sorry little Timmy but you only had so much money and you chose to have a decent living situation so unfortunately the leg you broke will just have to wait till next time.”
maybe we should just price things in comparison to much cheaper things to see if they understand how fucking expensive everything is one month of health insurance sans ACA is worth about 33 iphones. A month of rent in a decent apartment is about 150 movie tickets without including utilities and such.

Customer: It’s just UNACCEPTABLE to only have one person working up there. They need to make someone come in. But yes here’s my overly simple issue…
Literally three days later when I was losing my voice
Me, clearing my throat and trying to speak clearly: Hey how can I help you today?
Customer: Oh honey are you sick?
Me: No it’s just my voice I’m fine. What did you need?
Customer: Well I need to talk to someone not sick. You should have called in.
Ok so like in the avatar world you would think that waterbenders would be the fire fighters right? Like a bunch a of waterbenders just getting water from a lake or a river and dousing the fire.
