When i first saw this scene it instantly looked familiar, and it made me wonder when Garnet got the power to get into a fusion’s (or any person’s for that matter) head.
Then i realized
this is familiar
because this is something that steven can do
this isn’t Garnet going into stevonnie’s head
this is Garnet letting them into her’s
This is so important though, because at the beginning of the show, Garnet was portrayed as always having to be the level-headed leader, shouldering the team’s functionality at a time when doubts were at a peak. And now, she’s opening up about a very personal vulnerability to help Steven, Connie, and Stevonnie with their own emotional health…
Also, I’ve said it before, but it’s very important seeing that Garnet’s visor is mostly red right now because usually we hear wisdom from the Sapphire side and sass from the Ruby side. Garnet’s intelligence is not just from Sapphire, it’s mainly Ruby teaching Stevonnie from experience how to ground yourself.
