okay so i went to bo burnham’s website bc i was rewatching make happy and he mentioned it (shameless self-promotion works kids don’t give up on your dreams) and when you go to boburnham.com you get this screen
and if you click yes then it goes to his about page
so okay sure cool but if you click no?
it goes to a webpage with a bunch of pictures of his dog with the caption “this is my dog bruce and i love him”
like this page isn’t linked anywhere on the main headers for his website it’s just accessible if you know the url or if you answered “no” to the question “are you happy”

My sister and I were driving home one day and we were stopped at a red light. I was talking my head off but I noticed my sis was still at the light even after it turned green. I’m like, “Sis, the light is green.” She didn’t move, just sat quiet. I says, “Sis?” and finally look over at her and notice she’s looking in her rearview mirror. “I’m just making sure that girl is okay.” she says.
I look back and I see a girl walking down the street and a couple of guys in a truck talking to her.
My sister said they turned around and drove back down to the girl. You could see the girl’s discomfort even though she was smiling, she looked scared. We made sure the guys drove away before driving off. It’s not flattering at all, it’s terrifying.
i just saw an ad that was probably supposed to say accident lawyers but it said accidental lawyers and i can’t sotp laughing “just got my law degree aw man this wasn’t what i meant to do how am i gonna get out of this one”
i love this post because my dad literally got his law degree by accident?? he was the first person in his family to go to college and he didn’t understand how majors worked (he thought that it was just like.. if you take a lot of math classes you’re a math major and that it was just a figure of speech) so when it was time for him to declare his he realized he hadn’t actually been working towards any major in particular.
so he went through and looked at the required classes for every major offered at his college to see if the classes he had taken matched with anything, and lo and behold he found a pre-law degree. and he thought, “well ok, i guess being a lawyer doesn’t sound too bad.” and that’s how my dad became a lawyer.
