Ya know…I defend this show a lot. I defend the writers a lot. Because they’re having to work in the constraints of, like, the studio and production and Disney and station and stuff. And then there’s shot like this, where they just blatantly disregard ya know…physics. And time. And their own damn canon.
In all fairness, dark swan used magic to speed up the pregnancy and make baby robin be born months early so it could be explained as residual effects of that.

6th gen added a new type, and though it only added 71 new species, only one of which being related to a previous line, it also added 47 Mega Evolutions for an effective total of 118, more than Johto or Sinnoh.

I really hope these same arguments don’t come up as much in Gen 7, but I know they will.
