The worst part is that yaint using it right. Yaint means “you all are not” meaning whereas in this context it would translate to “you all are not gotta know why” which isn’t a proper sentence. If you want to say it right it would be more like “yaint gonna know why”
I thought yaint stood for y'all ain’t. “Y'all ain’t gotta know why” sounded pretty ok to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yaint > Y'all ain’t > You all are not
yaint is a fine word it’s people using “gotta” right after that is what infuriates me.

It bothers me even more when customers are shitty to retail employees in front of their kids, because that teaches the kids that being shitty to retail employees is okay.
It’s even worse when the kids are being shits and the parents get mad when you ask them to calm down.

Y'all is short for you all, but honestly, so many people say y'all in places that “You all” would sound strange; same for ain’t/are not. The language and context surrounding these words have changed enough that they aren’t always interchangeable any more. So yaint is fine in this situation, because who cares
The problem is that people keep using the “aint” part as “do not” rather than “are not” Aint does not mean “do not” ergot saying “yaint gotta _____” is not a proper sentence as it translates to “you all are not gotta ____” which is improper.
