This is a mean-spirited little device. Before TV and video games, we apparently slaked our thirst for comedic violence by tricking people into getting stabbed with rusty needles. I like to call this thing “the tetanus machine”. My dad got it for free after an antique dealer tricked him into bloodying himself - he described the horrific process of dying by tetanus and the guy was guilted into handing it over.

We have an older one somewhere, which features a little snake popping out of a hole to stab you with a needle for a tongue.

This reminds me of the post where the Black Panthers were shown guarding their territory from white supremacists with guns and someone was like “ha ha take that Republicans where is your precious Second Amendment now?!?” Like… That’s exactly what it’s there for? For people to protect themselves from whatever they feel the need to protect themselves from? Why would anyone have a problem with the Black Panthers legally obtaining weapons?

Remember after the Orlando shooting, when a bunch of gay people wanted guns, and gun owners were basically all “sure, go right ahead!”

When people talk about the right to bear arms, OP, there’s no asterisk with a footnote that says “as long as you’re white”.
