I was part of the Brony fandom when it was at its worst. I know how to handle these. And this isn’t even the first time I’ve seen sexual identity erasure. I’ve seen shippers so rabid to ship two characters that didn’t even share a screen together until 100 episodes in that if you had a blog with one without the other, they would ask “where’s the other?” And then attack you for not having the other. All this while one of the characters in question was canonically ace. So ace that he didn’t even consider love as a catalyst for a magic expirament.
But yeah, this isn’t my first experience in this situation.
Imagining the fandom trying to recover from the last night’s “Mr. Greg” feels freight train… and realizing we’re only two episodes into the Steven Nuke
Don’t worry, most of the Fandom has completely ignored mr greg because it means that pearl is no longer hung up on rose, nor does she despise men like most people have thought based on her two interactions with the man she blamed for roses death and a creeper narcissist.
Just a reminder that there are more sexualities than hetero and homo. Pearl can still be shipped with greg while being just as gay as when she was with rose. Bi, pan and demi are still are thing.

Di-did you not see the latest episode? Where in the end she accepted rose was gone and started warming up to greg? I mean, it’s not like they had a moment that rivals rainbow quartz or anything. She isn’t repulsed by men. And her being shipped with greg doesn’t make her any less gay. Saying shit like a “man and a women in a relationship is only hetero” is biphobic, demiphobic and Panphobic. There are more sexualities than just homo and hetero.

Okay sorry I sounded annoyed. It’s hard to tell who is talking to who. But eyah, pearl is bi pan or demi. Lesbians still have sapphire and ruby. Why can’t the just let other lgbt members have pearl. They are missing the entire point of Mr greg which was that rose is gone and will never come back and pearl is finally ready to move on.
Evolution is making us taller, skinnier, with bigger eyes. Kinda alien looking. Maybe we’ll invent time travel and come back in neat little UFOs.
That is literally the plot of the book series, mind warp. Basically super soldiers go back in time and live regular lives until they have a kid and disappear to protect them. The kid inherits their power. Then more super soldier bounty hunters go back to kidnap them. Their time machines are flying saucers and it’s thought they were aliens until the big twist that they were just time travelers.
