Why do the media keep complaining about getting injured while playing PokemonGo…?? Like it’s common sense to play attention to your surroundings. All they do is report all the stupid people who can’t bother to look up. Haven’t seen the articles about people using poke stops to raise money for charities or where shelters are lending out dogs for walks. There’s a ton of positive and beautiful stories about this game but no we always focus on the negative parts.

Because good people don’t make for good stories. The ultimate goal for news is money and Reporting stupid kids to validate the last Generations head up their ass sells

The last few weeks have been so depressing and overwhelming, so Pokemon Go could not have come out at a better time. I may be wasting away my days and gas money but it’s been so nice to have something fun and distracting in between going to rallies, just to keep my spirits up. It’s been really nice to see other people talk about friends their making and how happy they are playing it. Then of course something had to ruin it. This shit is not okay. The landmark descriptions on Pokemon Go come from an older app and weren’t vented very well because obviously there’s a lot of ground to cover. This needs to be changed ASAP.

Click Pokeball
Choose “Settings”
Choose “Report High-Priority Issue”
Choose the respective problem under “Gameplay Questions”
Fill out form.
Note that this will close Pokémon Go, and open your web browser! If you’re conserving data, take a screenshot and follow the link OP embedded above. Consider bookmarking it as well!
Unfortunately, as OP said, landmark descriptions were carried on through an older app that allowed user submitted locations. So chances are it might take a while before any changes will be made if Nintendo/Niantic are not notified! Not only this, but hateful/inappropriate player names are getting banned fast once they are reported.
Please don’t allow hateful trainers into a place meant for everyone to feel safe

I know some of my friends have wanted to report…. less awful pokestops then this for just normal inappropriateness (ex: making them from people’s graves w/out asking first) and team/name changes so this is apparently how you do it

Out of poverty creates strength and compassion. It’s weird how that works.
i sure wasn’t feeling the strength when i was skipping class because i was too weak to walk there after going 2-3 days without food, and i definitely wasn’t compassionate when i was checking every time i walked home to see if there was an eviction notice on the door. stop trying to fucking make it seem like a good thing.
Poverty is not a virtue. It doesn’t make you a better person. Poverty doesn’t make you “strong and compassionate” it makes you insecure and stressed the fuck out. Poverty makes it so you can’t live your life without the everything being undercut by fear. It makes you hard and angry. We need to do away with the bullshit myth that being poor is somehow better for you as a person. You know who wants you to believe that? Rich people, so you don’t question them.
