Think about every game of Undertale that ended with someone locking up their file and never playing it again. Every time someone listened to Flowey’s pleading after opening up after the pacifist run. Flowey wasn’t pleading with the player, they were pleading with CHARA. Every time someone let it be, every time someone let Frisk be happy … That was Chara, letting go. That was Chara, satisfied. That was Chara, leaving everyone to be happy. And of those who DO reset, how many of them make a Chara like Asriel, who don’t want to let go of these precious friends, who aren’t ready to say goodbye? Even this Chara, while perhaps selfish, is hardly EVIL.

Lacking EVERYTHING about the character’s design. They hadn’t thought about telling me even what race they were, what colours, what style, what built, anything. I could only read they were male.
I had no contact info about the customer, I had received their other through a third party I worked through at the time.So I couldn’t look them up and see if I could find anything about their OC.
I had to write a survey and send it to them through my contact, to get basic details, and that was barely filled out. They wanted me to draw an OC they insisted having a mental image of, they had to look a specific way. But they seemingly failed to realize that I couldn’t read minds…
