So apparently CN is planning a big PPG reboot panel for Comic Con. I really hope they get grilled (nicely!) on their ethics. I really do. Although I’d like to see how they’ll deflect questions or try to just get people to praise their work. :T
I bet it will be the first Comic Con panel well all of the attendees are carrying pitch forks and torches.
Or even better! Barely anyone shows up and the only reactions heard from the audience are cricket chirps!

Why context is important
“matpat gave the pope undertale” sounds way different than “matpat met the pope while representing the YouTube gaming community and it’s customary to give the pope a gift that’s reflective of the culture your represent and he chose undertale, a game about choices, consequences and reflect and peace/love”
the pope doesn’t have a computer tho
maybe not, but in this whole customary gift giving thing, it’s way more common that the gift is more symbolic than anything else. and i’m sure that if the pope really wanted to play it, he’d find a way. the point is less that the pope be able to use the gift and more that the gift represents something.
Exactly. That’s also why a golden Xbox controller (I’ve seen people suggest one instead) wouldn’t work either because it doesn’t represent something important, it’s just an opulent decoration. And this is the popes who threw out a golden throne in exchange for a regular chair as a. symbolic gesture that he is a man before he is pope. Basically, get that pope some symbolism. Popes love symbolism.
