Yeah. Honestly it’s pretty stupid because it was all explained in his video and the ones who actually watch it are taking more stuff he said out of context. Honestly it’s because hold themselves to too high of a degree to admit they nnt care about the pope or what happened, they just want a reason to hate mat pat and undertale for being popular.
I was going to make a joke about Amethyst getting busywork to feel like she’s helping but then I realized that Steven is trying to hammer in screws and now I guess this is just the I’m Helping corner where these two get sent to stay out of the way of the working adults
“matpat gave the pope undertale” sounds way different than “matpat met the pope while representing the YouTube gaming community and it’s customary to give the pope a gift that’s reflective of the culture your represent and he chose undertale, a game about choices, consequences and reflect and peace/love”
Yeah, “matpat met the pope while representing the YouTube gaming community” is actually even more ridiculous so I’m not sure context makes this one better
“matpat, while representting the YT gaming community, AS THE CUSTOMARY GIFT, gave the pope who may or may not even have a fucking computer a steam code for a video game instead of an actual physical object, AND THEN PROCEEDED TO MAKE A HORRIBLE VIDEO”
You mean the video that gives the reason why he chose that specific game as well as what it was like to meet the pope? This is the same pope who threw out a golden throne. I’m pretty sure he cares more for the symbolism and sentiment more than actually getting something physical
“Can you update @askthecowponies with this character/my OC doing this thing?”
If it strikes my fancy and I feel like drawing it.
“But I really want to see it!”
Commissions are open, and I’d be happy to take a commission for what you want on that blog, or out of it.
“But I really really want to see it!”
Then pay me or hope that your idea piques my interest.
Ugh sounds awful. What’s next, they try to pay you on “exposure?”
A month ago, when 49 people were slaughtered in a gay club, we were told the blame lay at our feet, because if only everyone were allowed to carry a gun, we’d be safe.
Today, after a black man was held down, shot at close range and murdered, and we’re told he would have been safe if only he hadn’t been armed.
Which is it?

Today I learned that killing zombies in Black Ops III makes me a member of a culture
Culture is defined by customs, arts and mannerisms of a certain large social group. Gaming as a whole is it’s own culture.
David Holmes was Daniel Radcliffe’s stunt double for the first six Harry Potter movies, and he was set to be his stunt double for the final two movies, but while testing out a flying stunt (famous for being a very dangerous stunt in itself) for Deathly Hallows Part I, he was thrown against a wall, and fractured his neck. The incident left him paralysed for life from the chest down, with only limited movement within his arms and hands.
I’m not getting shit, it’s just a bunch of people looking for any reason to hate the guy by taking httings out of context and judging based on hearsay. That and a bunch of ad hominem. You know “oh, op watches mlp so that must mean whatever she says is completely invalid”
Honestly the only thing more annoying than something with a large following is an anti following. People who will use the most irrelevant things to try and make something look bad. Like “oh, this guy was rolmates with this guy for a year. That means what he has is gonna be bad” or “oh, this guy likes a game that I don’t like. He’s a terrible person.”
