Simple. They already have their mind made up but there are plenty of people who are willing to look at the whole picture. The more I point out their flaws, the more likely someone who is open minded will look into the situation themselves. Hell, I’m pretty sure most of these people never even watched the video. The biggest complaint is that the Pope doesn’t have a computer and that was pointed out on the video. It was a symbolic gesture.

The context was that there was a global panel and the topic was how the internet brings people together. It’s customary to bring the pope a gift reflecting the culture you are chosen to represent. Mat pat was chosen to represent YouTube gaming culture. The gift that reflects it was undertale which he gave symbolically because it’s a game about peacefull fighting and overcoming prejudices to the pope who supports the lgbt community and actually helps people.
