I always find it gross when cis gay men and cis lesbians exclude trans people from their communities. Not even just ‘I wouldn’t date a trans man/woman’, but to the extent of misgendering and other transphobia, to which they cry homophobia. Excluding gay men/women from gay spaces is… homophobic? That makes no sense - and it doesn’t make any more sense if you put ‘trans’ in front of it. Trans men are men. Trans women are women.
