Like holy crap are people blowing this whole Captain Hydra thing way out of proportion. Seriously people, it’s not that big of a deal. Calm the frick down.

You do realize that children are crying because they found out that the person they looked up to was apparently a nazi the entire time, right?

And last month Vision was a bad guy. Before that Iron Man was evil, and he even Won as the villain. Before that the entire Avengers was evil. Heroes being evil is a cliche and why Cap should be immune to that I have no idea. We don’t even know the story with Cap yet or why or how he’s evil. Not to mention Hydra haven’t even been Nazis for awhile now.

Tony was never a villain and neither was vision.
There’s a difference between trying to keep your team from causing a shit ton of damage and being a character made specifically to fight nazis for 70 years suddenly being a nazi all along.

Especially since he was created by jewish people

So, the whole story arc where Tony infected the entire city with the Extremus Virus and blackmailed them into paying for it, while keeping Daredevil locked in a basement because he discovered the secret was totally not evil? Pepper tried to stop him and failed. Evil Tony won. Then it just stopped and they went about like it never happened.

Steve isn’t going to end up having really been evil for the past 70 years. It’s going to be some cliche cosmic powers messing with time/his mind thing. Seriously, comics do this kind of thing all the time and it’s no big deal.

When the fuck did that happen? Why the fuck would tony go anywhere near the extremis virus when it almost killed pepper

It was Superior Iron Man, the title which referenced Superior Spider Man which was the story where Peter Parker “died” and his mind was replaced by Doctor Octopus’. Seriously, I’m pretty sure every single member of the Avengers has been evil at some point or another now. It’s a cliche publicity stunt from Marvel designed to draw attention away from DC’s big new reboot and story arcs, but hey, I guess it worked since I’ve not seen any mentions of the fact that the same day Steve said Hail Hydra we saw Superman die, Wally West Flash return, and Doctor Manhattan STRONGLY hinted as being the new bug super villain of DC.

OH, so it’s an AU? That doesn’t count.
