Obviously we’ve all been waiting for Trump’s indictment and the intensive media coverage is expected, but I hope cable news can take a breath and cover what’s happening in Tennessee.
To quickly summarize, the GOP-led legislature has moved to expel three Democrats because they participated in a peaceful protest about the Nashville shooting.
…To restate that, Republicans are kicking democratically-elected officials out of their state legislature because they exercised their constitutional right to protest.
These are elected officials who represent some 200,000 people in Tennessee. They’re being silenced.
