The reality is much stranger than that, because there is no evidence to show that the life of a toy would ever end unless its entire body were vaporized or melted. If toys could die like living creatures, the monstrosities created by Sid would be impossible.

The cluster predates Peridot. But this could have been made by a gem with future vision of some kind. Or it was another Peridot.
Remember when they were drilling and they got to the layer made of Peridot? What if those were all peridots who had something to do with the cluster?

Agreed. My main theory was that a peridot came up with the idea for the fusion expiraments but everyone is turning it to be like some kind of half prophecy.
