Spin-Out for the Odyssey 2 is literally my earliest memory of a video game (the bright colors and the smashy sound the cars made when they crashed are forever imprinted on my brain). Video games have been a part of my family–and my life–since I was born, which was during the same year as the North American Video Game Crash. The crash allowed even a family as poor as ours to own some early consoles, and playing games on them was often a family activity.
In my life, I’ve watched video games go from this to their current state, and have been playing them the entire time. I feel both humbled and very fortunate.

Fuck…my first experience with a game, as clichéd as it sounds, was Super Mario Bros. However the actual game that always stuck by was some space exploration game that was on an old Windows 98 called ‘The Oddessy Tour’.
Then again there was always MegaMan Battle Network:
Stepdad had a playstation that he didn’t play. This and one other game was the only games I had til they bought more games for me.

Another example of people prioritizing the gender of the bi person’s partner over the actual bi person. Y'all don’t care about bi representation so just leave us alone. We’ll determine for ourselves what is and isn’t good bi rep.
Like instead of just talking about needing more lesbian representation (which is a conversation I 100% support), you would rather shit all over bi girls (and pretend non binary people don’t exist) because the truth is, you see us as half straight and half gay and you want to ignore the part you don’t like and just pretend we only like girls.
This may come as a shock to you, I care more that the character is well written and the show actually acknowledges the character is bi (aka USES THE WORD BISEXUAL which NEVER happens) and calls out biphobia.
BI WOMEN DO NOT EXIST TO PLEASE OR CATER TO ANYONE PLEASE STOP ACTING LIKE BI WOMEN OWE YOU SOMETHING WHEN WE CERTAINLY DO FUCKING NOT
Also, please realize that a bisexual woman in a relationship with another woman is not lesbian representation, because the bisexual woman is not a lesbian.
Also….the irony in saying “that bi girls don’t give two shits about lesbians when it doesn’t directly benefit them and them primarily.” when your entire post is all about how you, as a lesbian, don’t care about bisexual girls unless it directly benefits lesbians and lesbians primarily.
Bi women do not exist in media to be a self-insert for lesbians or representations of lesbians. They exist to be bi.
Bi men who love women are valid Bi women who love men are valid. Bi people who love NB people are valid. Bi people who love who they love are valid. Bi people are valid.
