I’m watching the magic school bus with my brother starting at episode one, the space episode. My brother and I kept pointing out all these flaws and mistakes then THE ENDING HAPPENED WHERE SOMEONE MAKES A PHONE CALL ALSO POINTING ALL THESE FLAWS AND I WAS FREAKING OUT LIKE “THEY KNOW US ASSHOLES EXIST” and the person on the dang phone was pointing out all the shit I WAS POINTING OUT. I’M SORRY I GREW UP TO BE THIS WAY.

Without any extra funding, the city of Flint, Michigan will run out of the money it needs to keep buying bottled water and water filters for residents in 51 days.
Where are the celebrity’s now? … Where is Hillary since she got her nod from the DNC .. Where is the President? .. Why hasn’t the governor been ousted or put in jail?
How long are these people going to be without clean drinking water?? It’s been years since they found out, and still nothing is being done.

The federal disaster designation expired because of Republican sandbagging in the Senate.
The State has pledged money to continue providing water and filters, but there’s also a multimillion dollar suit against the governor, and the six state employees who’ve been criminally charged are still receiving paychecks from the state.
Snyder is still in office because both legislative branches are controlled by Republicans, and because he has the backing and support of the wealthiest families in Michigan (who also made PR donations of water and filters).

Also, check the Wikipedia “Current Events” section. If an event is still listed, it’s still ongoing. There’s a LOT of things going on that the news stopped reporting on because the story just entered a holding pattern (”Day 593, still no clean water” isn’t exactly immediate news, considering it will take ten years to fix the damage).
