after i drew this picture a lot of people who reblogged it suggested that phantump, when it was alive, could have been the child who owned banette when it was still only a doll. So i tried to imagine what their reunion would be like :’)
this gets even sadder when you remember that baynets hold grudges against their child and the child probably died in the forest looking for the lost doll.

But Buddy stayed put in Beach City until it was fully founded and operational enough to put a bronze statue up. That takes many many years. And he never saw Rose in over a decade or so? What she been up to? Obviously time passes differently for gems but like. what. Rose please visit your fam. The humans moved in and its kinda cute watching them run around.
when i was a kid and the 2nd generation japanese pokemon names hit the internet i misread “lugia” as “luigi” and genuinely believed mario’s brother luigi would be a pokemon that you could capture in the new pokemon game for several days
I had the opposite reaction when I first heard about luigi. I thought luigi was lugia and thought marios brother was the ocean pokemon.
it’s literally 2016 why did i just come across a buzzfeed video about snacks that “only 90s kids will recognize” like….. i watched the video and one of the snacks was literally a can of coke….. they poured a can of coke into a glass…
the fact so many people have a fondness for kirby as a character despite never having played or even been interested in playing one of his games really goes to show how good a design he is
He wasn’t even supposed to have his own game. He was supposed to be a filler until they made the main character but the game devs became so fond of Kirby that they just made him the main character
