The boys I used to nanny had this huge play kitchen and the oldest would always cook me things and told me he was going to be a chef. Cooking was his passion at 4 years old. One day I came over and he refused to play with it. When I asked him why he didn’t want to cook he said “my daddy says cooking is for girls and I’m not a girl so I can’t play with it anymore”. He wouldn’t even help me cook dinner anymore. It was the saddest thing ever.
People are so weird… How did we get to this point? Where cooking a meal is considered just for a certain gender? That makes absolutely no sense at all..
My father was the best cook I ever met. He kept a binder full of recipes he found online, and included his own notes on what works and what doesn’t. He even had recipes for Fish, and he hated fish.
But my dad was also a mechanic. Drove a mustang with an engine he built from scratch. Climbing a mountain once a week was his idea of getting in shape.
What I’m saying is, cooking does not mean you can’t be the biggest badass to ever live. In fact, it only adds to it. Cooking is important, and my brother and I wouldn’t be where we are today if we hadn’t learned how to cook like our father.
Cooking makes you a badass, because nothing is more badass than using the elements of nature to tenderize the meat of a 2400 lbs beast, and then slathering it’s remains in a heavy cream with tiny onions for flavoring.

Actually, quite interestingly enough, I was the one being told to kill myself. By multiple people. And all of you guys keep calling me ableist and transphobic, which I am neither, on multiple social media sites.
Neither have I. I don’t send hate via Anon. I’m not a coward nor will I sink low enough to tell someone to kill themselves.
Headcanon is Headcanon no matter the head. If someone thinks a character would be white if they were human or skinny if they were human, it’s still a Headcanon. But it’s clear you’re the kind of person who only cares about meaning when it benefits you.
