if u were a gifted/talented child who grew into an anxious adult w fragile self worth and a perfectionist streak that makes u abandon things if ur not good at them immediately clap ur hands
It makes me feel conflicted. By all accounts, bismuth was correct and that weapon could have been a turning point in the war, saving everyone and you can’t even use the “but at what cost” argument because the cost probably wouldn’t have been as bad as the diamonds song, which forced all gems on earth sans roses posse into a fate worse than death.
I have no reason to disagree with bismuth. I have no good reason to disagree with her. And that makes me feel queasy. And that is why I like the show. Because it’s not all black and white, but various shades of grey.
1) how are gems given sentient life, 2) can it be applied to non-gem minerals, and 3) if so where are all my magical sentient sea shells and bones and ice cubes and shards of broken ceramic pots
i dont know the answers to 1 or 2 but heres the answer to number 3
a sea shell “gem” based on ichthyocentaurs (HALF MAN HALF HORSE HALF FISH with lobster claw head decorations)
I am Silver Tongue, I am an artist. I have many characters and you can check out my art in the art tag. I occasionally practice witchcraft though I don't do anything too complicated. I am girl 2 and don't know what else to put here.
