I got introspective one day and sketched out a 6 panel comic. It sat in a folder for a few days before I expanded it to 10. Then it sat for a week. After which, I moved on. The expiration date had passed, and the comic joined the rest of the half-drawn files in the very same folder.
I still don’t like it anymore, but I’ll take the victories where I can.
They then proceed, throughout the episode, to say that they are fine as-is and aren’t doing anything wrong.
TTG is shit.
I was afraid of that.
They did it already, but the creators are so focused on revenue that they don’t realize the shit show they are putting on. They have no integrity.
Wow. Either the arrogance is through the fucking roof here or the self-awareness is at fucking zero.
It’s because they keep trying for the ‘it’s not for you, it’s for kids~/glad we’re making comic book nerds angry about a cartoon show’ bollocks that is easily debunked with three words:
“Effort. Get some.”
That and the obnoxious TTG defenders will lap all this up insisting ‘Ha, see? The show knows that it’s just another Spongebob clone~ Why is everyone so salty~?’
Just because someone acknowledges they’re shit doesn’t make it okay. Last time TTG tried to defend itself it thought it was just because “oh, you’re clouded by nostalgia” whereas now, they acknowledge that it’s lowbrow humor and no character or developement so I hope this causes major change like TTG getting canceled and original teen titans getting a final season but that’s just wishful thinking.
