All these people complaing about Jordan don’t realise that he started with nothing. Before his channel started he had high plans for education but dropped out from depression and other personal reasons.
He worked hard at his channel and has always tried to make himself a good role model. The media always focuses on the money of the situation - not the struggle beforehand. Most YouTubers didn’t expect to get money, their just sharing what they love doing most, which is playing video games.
Like, are we not going to talk about KSI?? He bought a mason at the top a skyscraper, and is having a swimming pool AIR LIFTED BY HELICOPTER onto his open terrace.

No one gives media attention to the dark side. In Korea, players are literally farmed like battery chickens to be a great e-sports players for League of Legends. One man jumps off a 20-something story building when he realised the truth. Thank heavens something broke his fall and he lived..only just though.

Essentially it says if people treat youtube as legitimate entertainment, medias will lose a lot of money. I think that’s part of the reason people refuse to acknowledge him as a celeberty and the other part is that people are jealous that they aren’t charismatic enough to run a successful youtube channel. I jsut hope that jardon buying this house will help people realize that youtube is a legit source of entertainment.

He’s a celeberty. he has action figures of himself that can be bought at toy stores. He entertains millions of people. He has a steady source of income from his streams and merch. He’s essentially self employed. Him buying a big house is no different from johnny dep or nicki minaj buying a big house. He’s earned all this by being charismatic and funny. If anything, peoples reactions are disappointing because Jardon being in forbes should make it easier for people to recognize youtube as a legitimate source of entertainment. Nobody pisses on bill murray or estelle for buying an expensive house so why is this any different?

If anything, this is good because it means that there’s a chance that youtube entertainers will start being taken more seriously. In TV shows like jimmy kimmel and various magazines like time, they make youtube entertainment seem more like a niche thing for basement dwellers because if people focus on youtube more than actual TV, then the TV stations will lose money. The fact that spaklez got into forbes means that youtubers can get taken more seriously. Or are do you hate it because you don’t have the charisma to run a successful youtube channel?
When target decides to assign gender categories to candles
You know the price change team at Target will have to reprint the entire roll of labels just to fix this, right? As someone who helped the price change team do this when I came in for an early shift, trust me when I say it’s tedious as fuck when a) the entire roll wants to cram up when you slide it in whenever you have to replace even just one label, b) you’re out of label paper because you only get enough to cover that day’s price changes, c) you have to price check an item without knowing the SKU or name of the item because people think it’s cool to mess with the labels. Price change employees aren’t the ones responsible for the products that Target carries, they’re just making sure the SKUs are all readable and in the proper spots so the stocking team will be able to do their job correctly. But hey, thanks for creating more unnecessary work for people! I guess I’m not surprised that a whiny brat would care about minimum wage retail workers as long as she can ~stick it to the man~ and attempt to get some notes on Tumblr.
