Bachelorette number 31, I am literally a pumpkin. I was born a pumpkin, I lived as a pumpkin, and I will decompose as a pumpkin. If you were to carve something into me, what would it be and why?

Sorry, I’m more of an Apple gal than a pumpkin gal.
it pains me to see mlp, a show that celebrates girls and diversity of all kinds, pull something so completely insensitive, something that goes against everything my little pony stands for. this was a major failure i thought my little pony would be the one place safe from this. my heart goes out to all the trans girls who were hurt by today’s episode.
Honestly and personally, I didn’t see the episode that way at all. If anything, this episode showed how far a brother was willing to go for the happiness of his little sister. On a side translation, perhaps we got a glimpse of Big Mac’s alter ego as he has been shown doing what has been gender stereotyped as female actions, comfortably, multiple times. The episode showed the kind of judgment trans and queens go through on a daily basis in how people respond to those who don’t look quite ‘right’ as the gender they display. On this, I do feel if Big Mac DID ever come out expressing his desire to continue to wear a dress and be referred to as a filly, by the nature of the town and show, everypony would be very supportive (though it would certainly be ‘weird’ for some at first, their love for BM would overcome it by the end of the episode I’m sure.) However, I don’t think Big Mac would actually do this as he is flat out comfortable who he is, as he is, no matter what he does (Except in sharing his feelings out right but that’s the same for many ponies).
Off topic and yet not, why is there not something like a brotherhoof social? Or an all around sibling social? There is so little done to celebrate the male ponies of the show that it is no surprise he thought he had to play a female to participate. I’m sure if it was clarified that he would have been fine to enter as a male, he would have.
Now, if you just want to be offended, go ahead and be so but I personally fail to see an issue with this episode. It stuck to it’s core message and showed a level of confidence most people (ponies) would love to have in a character we barely get to see in depth. As an Intersexed male (with female features), I support this episode.

People disguising themselves to pass in a situation in which they would be in trouble if their real identity was found does not make them trans or make fun of trans. Saying big Mac is trans would also mean trainer yellow, shiek, mulan, cloud and ash Ketchum were trans or making fun of trans people.
People disguising as the opposite gender doesn’t make them trans.
Anybody seen the episode Onion Friend? And know the meme ‘What are Those?’
Um
Am I crazy?
Because I remember very vividly that there was a scene where Amethyst gestured to Onions moms slippered and yelled ‘what are those’ and people were reblogging the scene over and over and posted text quotes of her saying this line.
Like, this went on for a full week. And from there I saw it being vined by other people. Like, Steven Universe started this meme.
But talking to my brother, it was brought up so I went to bring up the episode. The entire scene was missing. The entire ‘what are those’ scene from any source and I’m so incredibly confused. Did I seriously imagine all of that? Am I mistaken?
No, i definately remember that too. It may be another instance of the berenstein/barenstein bears multiverse crossovers.
