I’ve been seeing people talking about how Steven called Peridot “Dot” by way of a nickname but I’ve watched the episode 5 times now and even searched through the transcript and I can’t find any trace of such a thing happening, let alone visual or auditory proof, so… source??
he says “what’s up, dot?” when she’s trying to reach the panel, right before he puts her on his shoulders.
… Just checked. You’re right. I kept hearing “what’s up, doc?” every time, and just assumed it was a reference to Bugs Bunny, but no, indeed, he definitely says Dot… Okay, thanks, I guess.
