The problem I have with the wonderbolts is the same I have with oras raquaza. they're built up to be super badasses but when they're actually seen in action, they are weak as fuck. like seriously HOW DOES SOMEONE MANAGE TO GET OUTSMARTED BY SPIKE OF ALL PEOPLE AND HOW DOES THIS SUPER BADASS GOD WHO CREATED MEGA EVOLUTION DIE IN ONE HIT TO A FUCKING ALIEN ROCK.
You know, ORAS dialogue actually sounds pretty fucking stupid if you never actually use mega evolution. Everyone is all like “oh you’ve mastered mega evolution” and “you are the chosen one. see how your pokemon can mega evolve?” and you’re just like “I literally have not mega evolved once.”
Yeah I love Scarecrow, hes my favorite Batman villain of all time and he got progressively more scary as the animated series went along.
Wow, I actually got this ask literally as I posted a post talking about his design changes throughout the series. I absolutely love scarecrow and am a little disappointed at the nolan version. But I’m not a fan of the nolan version of a lot of villains. They are too human, it doesn’t make them seem like as big of a threat. Their plans were too practical and took away from the fun of watching them be thwarted. Like, even tim burton understood that joker does things to try and amuse people who have dark sense of humor.
I love the evolution in design of scarecrow from batman the animated series
His first appearence looks like this
He’s scrawny and doesn’t look that big of a threat. He is just starting out.
His next design is
Much more menacing. Has a more inhuman look to it and nice use of straw to resemble hair. The patchwork makes him look like a bigger threat.
Finally, his final and best design.
Shrouded in shadows. Big but lankey. he looks like a threat. And the noose on his neck? He has seen some shit. His eyes no longer resemble something human and the constantly opened mouth strikes fear in the hearts of man without the use of the gas.
Yeah, he’s a B-List villain at best, and hasn’t been seen much except for in a few things, but I do enjoy the character. Before Jason Todd was “Evil Robin,” there was Anarky. He was a perfect profile fit for Robin, and honestly, that’s pretty cool in my opinion.
But again, we haven’t seen much of him in a long time. Which is sad. Thankfully, the games may feature him a bit more promenently, because of how his popularity has had a nice boost. Mostly in that his design in Arkham Origins is the best yet.
Also, Joker and Harvey Dent are major contenders.
Season 4 scarecrow is my fav.
