sonic is the biggest, so hes probably in the front. His leg goes forward, but his foot still ends up being being Knuckles’ head. so it looks like either Sonic is very big or Knuckles is tiny
please also notice how tails is slightly covering the tip of sonics shoe, which means he’s tiny too.
I mean, sure the whole jelly-filled donut thing was cheesy and all, but this? This took actual effort.
Someone had to draw the sandwich. Someone had to painstakingly edit the sandwich into the scene. Someone had to make sure that the sandwich perfectly matched the rice ball’s movements in every single frame.
And for what? What could they possibly stand to gain? Did some executive really look at this and think, “Yep, this seems like a valuable use of time and money”?
Like??? Why would anyone go to so much needless work just to edit any trace of Japanese culture out of a Japanese show?
It’s doubly hilarious because the kid running after his food is literally dressed in traditional Japanese clothing, like how unnecessary is this edit?
(Also funny because sure, a giant rice ball could conceivably roll down a hill, but how… does a giant sandwich… roll while staying intact? It also appears to be dropping a shadow? Is it floating? )
This is why I hate 4Kids. There was no reason why they had to do this - it’s more than pointless, it practically borders on xenophobia. I know they’re gone now, but for the eight years we had to put up with them, they just shit all over this show, and their influence still lingers to this day.
You think this is bad you should have seen some of the edits they made to Sonic X. They would often take signs with Japanese text on them and just leave them blank. They wouldn’t try to put english text on them or anything, they would just leave them blank.
Now admittedly this is sort of understandable since most English kids probably don’t know Japanese. What doesn’t make sense is when they edit out signs that had English text in the original Japanese version.

Yeah, they have one episode that cuts to a now completely blank sign, which now that it has no text is completely pointless.

Just a reminder to women that cellulite isn’t this evil thing that only ‘fat’ people have. Most women, including well known celebrities have cellulite. The term cellulite was started in the 1960’s in a Vogue magazine. Its nothing more than the body storing fat, which practically every person has to some degree. Don’t be ashamed of something that’s normal!

Fun fact: the reason the word cellulite was invented was to make women feel bad about this natural fat and manipulate them into getting liposuction.
