I dunno where this narrative of CN getting mad at Sugar over putting LGBT stuff into the show and Sugar sneakily pushing it by in spite of them comes from.
Like, you all know there’s not a single minute of footage that goes on air that their S&P department isn’t completely aware of and approved of months, if not a year in advance, right?
It’s because people in the SU fandom have no real understanding about how episodes are produced. They are under the impression that episodes come out on a very short schedule and change solely due to their inclinations and actions.
For example, when the Dewey episode came out and we had the conversation about how people have flaws and that’s ok, I saw a ton of people commenting about how the episode was specifically calling out people who were upset at the first episode, and who were posting on social media upset that Pearl had flaws. However, that episode had to have been completed far in advance of the stevenbomb week. It certainly was not produced from start to finish in the three days after the fandom had a bad reaction.
Everyone thinks the team makes all of these sneaky last-minute changes to cater to them and that’s just not how it works.

when i say “teen titans go is bad” i dont mean it in the “this show is nothing like the original” way i mean “this show is wildly racist and sexist and ableist and its teaching young children that people who act creepy towards girls just because they have crushes on them will get away with it and aside from that its own creators dont care about the show enough to put effort into making it better for kids to watch”
