When my friend was a kid she used put on high heels and practice running around and jumping off stuff because Catwoman could do it. Now she can practically sprint in stilettos. Like…I’ve seen her chase after animals and run up hills and climb shit with 0% hindrance, and I will forever and always admire the hell out of her for it because when asked to choose between practicality and fashion she literally just chose “no be Catwoman” instead, and for some reason that actually worked.

Also, there are some counties in Texas who are still issuing marriage licences regardless of what the governor wants because they’re actually FOLLOWING THE LAW. One of those counties is the one I lived in for 10 years.

So thank you to my home of 10 years, Travis County, for supporting LGBT+ Texans across the state, and thank you, tumblr, for forgetting that there are LGBT+ Texans who are illegally being barred their new rights to marriage equality and deciding to make a joke out of it.

I’m from Chicago and tbh this statement Bernie made isn’t untrue. 

Literally 53 people were killed this weekend ALONE from gun violence. 

Him saying that gun laws should be different depending on the area is not problematic at all. Gun laws in urban Chicago and rural Virginia should be adjusted for the environment.Have you been to the desolation of country/rural america? Where the nearest hospital is 20 miles away and the nearest police are highway cops? with the nearest station being 10 miles out?

 btw,  guns are illegal within the chicago city limits I’ll have y’all know.
