Wanted to share a 4 page comic I wrote and illustrated about something personal to me, about relationships and… distance:] This is my submission for the upcoming issue of OFF LIFE.
Dear axe, your ad is horrible. Let me explain how:
1) It objectifies women. 2) It tells young men with female friends that they are not “real men”. 3) It tells young women that “real” men don’t want to be their friends, they only want to “tear” their clothing off. 4) It insults men with braids. 5) It is advertising a crappy body spray.
Okay, that last one was just my opinion. The others are facts.

Light side? Dark side? It’s all an illusion. There is just the force. It is merely a tool waiting to be used. For what purpose depends on the user but the fact of the matter is that there is no light side or dark side.
Today I learned that “refreshing to see Lara Croft wear a jacket” actually means “Lara Croft has never worn a jacket.”
I mean, I find it refreshing to see a AAA first-person shooter title that isn’t another yet another attempt at cashing in on the “gritty realism“ trend, does that mean there are zero FPS games that are different? No, of course not.
Also note that in quite a few cases, even when Lara Croft does wear a jacket in cold weather, she still wears really short shorts (see: the Ice Palace in Tomb Raider 2). So not really appropriate clothing in those cases, either.

Isn’t the whole point of this post that anita still doesn’t give a shit abou women or videogames, she just wants to complain about stuff she doesn’t even know about and blame anyone who calls her BS out on sexism?

Spiders are huge derps, pass it on.
My dad used to work as a mechanic in Arizona and he said that wild tarantulas would just wander into the shop and try and cuddle with the mechanics under the trucks. Spiders really dig car exhaust smell for some reason and they would be like “ah yes this human smells nice let me sit on your face while you’re working or perhaps climb into your pocket and see what you have” and the mechanics would keep shooing the spiders out but the spiders would follow them back like “No why would you leave me human friend??”
I love how half this site is all “AAAAAAAAAAAH SPIDER BURN THE WHOLE HOUSE DOWN!” and the other half is all “d’aww, what a cutie-pie.” Like no other creatures have this polarized of a reaction to them.
