This was the one of the best jokes in the episode, along with them lampshading the absurdity by having someone jump over a toy shark at one point. 

My favorite was Applebloom commenting on a friendship problem taking roughly a half-hour to fix.

Seriousy though, this episode was giant party of wall to wall awesome and a big kiss to the older fans that helped make the show show successful.

That alone makes not only awesome and hilarious but heartwarming because it came from a place of wanting to give back to the fandom for all it’s done.
