omg so yesterday i put a salt line on the pathway to our front door because i was fucking around and my brother was pretending to be a demon

my fave greek history story to tell is that of agnodice. like she noticed that women were dying a lot during childbirth so she went to egypt to study medicine in alexandria and was really fucking good but b/c it was illegal for women to be doctors in athens she had to pretend to be a man. and then the other doctors noticed that she was 10x better than them and accused her of seducing and sleeping with the women patients. like they brought her to court for this. and she just looked at them and these charges and stripped in front of everyone like “yeah. im not fucking your wives” and then they got so mad that a woman was better at their jobs then them that they tried to execute her but all her patients came to court and were like “are you fucking serious? she is the reason you have living children and a wife.” so they were shamed into changing the law and that is how women were given the right to practice medicine in athens

Markiplier is wearing a dress, he identifies (as far as I and MANY people know) as a male, he has every right to wear a dress and still identify as male.
Those shown responding to Mark’s tweet are people he knows and are good friends with. I know and I think most people can agree that if a person is your friend they have no right to make a racist, transphobic, transmisogynistic, misogynistic, triggering, or any other shitty kind of comment and get away with it solely because they are your friend.
Transmisogyny is the negative attitude, actions, and discrimination against transwomen and non-binary people on feminine side of the gender spectrum x
Transmisogyny can lead to and is heavy influenced by sexism.
So, their responses could be considered sexist if they were geared towards anyone who identified as female or has a more feminine expression. These kinds of comments can be seen everywhere and by many people.However this is not transmisogynistic, at least not in my eyes. All I see is a guy wearing a dress and his friends jokingly saying these kinds of things.
Markiplier is all about kindness, understanding, and helping others. If he wants to wear a dress, he can wear a fricking dress; it’s his personal choice. Felix, Ken, and Ray literally mean nothing in what they say or do commentary on. They have dry, dark, and all around stupid senses of humor. Personally I found their responses funny. However, not everyone will and I completely understand that.

For those wondering, transmysogony is people saying that trans people HAVE to wear the clothing society associates with the gender they identify as. For example, telling a trans girl she’s not trans unless she wears dresses and makeup.
But this also extends the other way. Telling a male they cannot wear a dress unless they are either a girl or a trans girl is transmysogonistic.
So who is the real transmysogonist?
Hint, it’s the people throwing out words they don’t even understand. The people who make the community look like a joke. The people who make it harder for us to actually get somewhere in life under the guise of “helping us”
The people who yell that mark wearing a dress is transmysogony is to the trans community what autism speaks is to the autistic community.
