This morning at brunch the server came out and he was like “unfortunately we don’t have ice right now because a server just broke a glass in it” and we were all like “no that’s fine I think an element of danger at brunch is sexy and fun” and he was like no absolutely I get that but I still can’t let you eat glass at my job
It’s not that I wouldn’t follow a dog into the woods to go on an adventure it’s just that I think this is the sort of trail that leads to being on a true crime podcast.
you know what if i die i die i’m FOLLOWING THE DOG THROUGH THE PLANT ARCHWAY
this is how you get kidnapped by fairies. following strange animals through odd overgrown gates in the middle of forests
So in my DnD campaign I have had Chip’s tavern door be enchanted by some inter-dimensional magic. Anyone who walks into a tavern has a 10% chance of ending up in Chip’s, and a 50% chance if they have been there more than once. When they leave, they are put back out at the tavern they walked into.
Needless to say, the party is basically always at Chip’s when they end an adventure now. And the amount of shenanigans that have gone on in her Tavern is ridiculous.
Latest shenanigans: The Cleric’s deity, a chaos goddess that embodies Change has replaced Chip’s door with a sentient door named Bob. Bob talks. This is the third sentient door that the party has come across.
could they ask bob to go to the destined tavern as opposed to chips?
scars in fiction: I got this trying to save my lover from an assassin- but tragically, I was too late. now I carry the mark of my failure with me always, and I can never forget~
scars in real life: so I was trying to open macaroni sauce with a paring knife
i got a scar on my belly because when i was a kid i was laying down with my cat sleeping on my stomach without a shirt on because it was texas summer and got up without removing the cat and it clawed into my torso as it fell
‘native american people have this belief’ ah yes like how all people in the united states believe in the book of mormon- wait, not all of them believe that? it’s only specific people in certain geographical locations and groups? that’s so dumb, why can’t I just say that americans believe in this? there’s too many places and groups to keep track of, I’m just going to continue to say that they all believe in this
