a girl bullied me in middle school because i was shy and awkward and easy to take advantage of. she’s now a mentor in the link program that matches up allistic students with autistic students to be their mentor.
a girl bullied me in high school for my comprehension issues, poor social skills, impulsiveness and inability to understand social cues (all autism symptoms). later that year she did a project on autism and talked about how ~*~honored~*~ she would feel if an autistic person wanted to be friends.
allistic people talk so much about how cute and endearing autistic people are but the moment they meet an actual autistic person they’re like “what the FUCK is that?”
People are stupid.

No, seriously. If you don’t have money to help out an artist financially, the second best thing is to reblog all the things you like. While liking it does tell the artist that “hey I really like this!” It does jack shit because the only ones who will see that are me and you.
Why do you think there are so SO many posts made by people that are literally summed down to “please reblog my artwork I need the notes!”? Because no one reblogs artwork. Unless you’re a ridiculously popular blog with thousands of followers, you’ll only end up getting 1 or no reblogs.

For real! I have a Patreon (Here it is!) and I sell my books (Here’s my store!), but if you don’t want to spend money the best way to support my work is to reblog! Reblog, and tell people why you’re reblogging! Tell people why you liek my work. Enthusiastic opinions matter so much!
This also translates into:
- “Why am I so motivated when it’s really late?”
- “The best time to make ideas is through sleep deprivation!”
- “I want to do so much more right before bed and I don’t understand why!”
- etc.
So basically when you stay up way too late it effects your problem solving ability and your ability to make decisions. [1]
Do you want to know a possible reason as to why that “I stayed up really late and now I feel so creative and willing to draw!” feeling happens? Because your self-critique center is shutting down because you’ve been awake for too long.
You are always as creative and able to do things as you were when you were awake. That potential doesn’t just disappear.
Difference is– when you’re wide awake you have a stronger problem-solving and decision-making center, which is obviously related to self-critique. Being tired doesn’t necessarily make you more creative and motivated, being tired forces you to quiet that part of yourself that holds you back.
Something to think about.
Man, fuck my brain. If I could function properly like drive and work without sleep then I would because my brain is an asshole who thinks it’s better than all my other organs and shit.
