This is terrible. Hunting and fishing should only be done if you plan on eating it and the population is high enough that the ecosystem won’t be negatively effected.
Not only are they doing this for the sake of measuring it (they aren’t even eating it) but targeting pregnant ones will cause a massive drop in the population which will have adverse effects on the biome.
Now I am all for hunting and fishing but ONLY when it’s done properly. These people need to be arrested or have their hunting privileges revoked or something.
