no, basically this is a rundown of what happened
in 2014, he made a video about the makeup challenge wherein he played a game and every time he failed he would apply more makeup and he looked like a ridiculous mess by the end. it came and passed, nobody cared about it really, life went on
recently someone found it and made a huge deal about it and claimed that it was horribly transmisogynistic and that he was a shitty person, the tag exploded with hate, the usual, etc.
he responded, saying that people were severely overreacting and misinterpreting the video’s contents, which is absolutely true and he had every right to say that
but know what happened next? they said he was silencing the trans community and got even *more* mad at him.
i personally think the entire situation is absolutely stupid and considering i’m a trans woman i have every right to.

Seriously, anyone who knows Mark should know he would never intentionally make a hurtful or disparaging remark/joke about anyone. He’s one of the brightest and most positive people in the entire YouTube scene. I hate it when people decide to attempt the assassination of a good person’s character just because they’re wrongfully offended. It’s childish and stupid.
