Someone asked us:

Can Planned Parenthood provide hormones to transgender people? And if so, what are the costs?

Why yes, yes we do. There are an increasing number of Planned Parenthood health centers that offer hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for trans clients. (Cost will vary depending on your insurance and Planned Parenthood health center policies.) Currently, the Planned Parenthood health centers that offer hormone treatment for trans folks are:

California:

Colorado:

Maine:

Montana:

New Hampshire:

New York:

North Carolina:

Vermont:

Washington

- Calvin and Maureen at QueerTips

IMPORTANT NOTE: OBTAINING HRT THROUGH PLANNED PARENTHOOD DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY SORT OF PSYCH DIAGNOSIS OR SEEING A SEPERATE ENDOCRINOLOGIST. IF YOU LIVE IN THESE PLACES AND WANT HRT, PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A FEW THOUSAND DOLLARS

I need to know the end of this. What is this now-15 year old doing with his life right now and how much does he fucking hate furries

Pretty sure that was a joke post, satirizing Christians who home school because public schools don’t indoctrinate enough woo into kids.

That it is.

I’m…not sure furries even have codefied beliefs and practices. I mean the closest thing the furry fandom has to a biblical figure is Dragoneer as Satan, and that’s about it.

What about lord helix?

Omnisexual is synonymous to pansexual. One's just a reference to promiscuity of the certain divine half-goat and the other isn't.

quartz-poker-deactivated2018120:

Pansexual: Fancy term for bisexual, but used by pansexuals to mean “Able to love anything.” And the word “Pan” in it is used to mean “All”, it’s not a reference to Pan the greek god. Think “Pan-America” for an etymological equivalent.

Omnisexual: Not only willing to love anything that moves, but actively pursuing it (if we go by the examples set in fiction).

Pansexual is NOT in fact a fancy term for bisexual. Bisexual people are only into girls and guys whereas pan people, gender doesn’t matter.

For all the fucking hype that Bernie Sanders gets you’d think he would have done better. You fucking shit heads sit here not voting meanwhile reblogging shit supporting Bernie. Your bitch ass blog isn’t going to make a difference you dickwad. YOU NEED TO GO OUT AND FUCKING VOTE.

in case you were wondering how badly we have fucking failed so far

image

THIS IS HOW FUCKING BAD. HILLARY HAS TRIPLE THE VOTES. TRIPLE.

get off your ass and vote. tell your mom to vote. remind your classmates to vote. and i s2g, TALK ABOUT BERNIE TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN FOR TEN SECONDS TOGETHER.

OKAY FIRSTLY

SUPERDELEGATES ARE NOT THE SAME AS REGULAR DELEGATES!!!!!!! I cannot say this enough. THEY’RE NOT THE SAME KIND OF DELEGATES

Delegates are members of the DNC that are awarded to each candidate PROPORTIONALLY BASED ON WHAT THE VOTER RESULTS ARE. They’re the ones that reflect what we actually voted for. They’re the ones that are assigned to each candidate based on our results.

Superdelegates ON THE OTHER HAND are independent and aren’t assigned to any candidate. They can vote for whoever the fuck they want to, and it makes sense that Hillary’s getting more because these are the big shots, like Senators and party officials and shit.

Now, the difference in superdelegates between Bernie and Hillary. From what I’ve seen, Bernie has focused mostly on the voters and less so on the corporate aspect of gaining support. Hillary has been making a lot of corporate connections and has been establishing herself in the political field for years, so those superdelegates probably know of her more than they do Bernie.

So yes, maybe we didn’t do as well as we hoped on Super Tuesday, but we can at least learn how to read graphs and results properly and not just listening to whatever we see on tumblr

Sincerely,
a high schooler who knows how to use Google and research how politics work

(If any of this is incorrect in any way or if there’s something I forget to add/misunderstood, feel free to correct me because there’re still some things I don’t understand but I’m willing to learn)

Some additional aspects:

* Not everyone who supports Bernie is able to vote - there are people who can’t leave work (yes, while technically in many(?) states you are allowed to take time off to vote, pay is not guaranteed), there are people under 18, there are people who can only do so much due to voter ID laws, etc.

* Superdelegates can and often do change depending on what the momentum/tide is. Several people have noted that in ‘08 Hillary had a large superdelegate lead over Barack Obama and yet look at what happened.

people will say how things are “in Africa” like it’s one big place that’s homogenous throughout

but god forbid you say “Britain” when you mean “England”

But when you’re referring to Britain you can also be referring to Scotland and Wales… I’ve met some English people that got offended when I called them “British” and just wanted to be called “English”. Others didn’t care. I guess it’s all relative.

Yeah, and when you refer to “Africa,” you could be referring to Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, or Zimbabwe, and those are just the 54 recognized sovereign states listed on wikipedia

Not to mention the fact that there are around 62,641,000 (62 million) people in the handful of countries in the UK, while there are around 1,032,532,974 (just over a billion) in the dozens of countries on the continent of Africa

Do you see why it’s a problem that people get who don’t give two shits about the “Africa” thing but still get super worked up about the “Britain” thing?
