Yeah it’s pretty sad when a game made at the very end of the eighties had more life and depth than one released in 2014.

the biggest problem with sonic boom is that it didn’t know what kind of game it wanted to be. It had too many game mechanics that were used once in a half finished level and then never again. If they had focused on only a few mechanics and worked on those, then it could have been good.
