If you read the full comic, it’s about a guy putting on a tight fursuit that fuses with his body, changing gender and species. It’s not a double butt, he just hasn’t finished putting it on.
In Steven’s song about Lapis during ‘The message’ he’d said “You fled into the bottom of the sea”

A lot of things were foreshadowing like the joke about them keeping amethyst was about how amethyst was created on earth and how garnet talking about how easy fusion is for her was foreshadowing sapphire and ruby
So Stan, some Stan, had to fake his death by cutting the brakes on his car. No one would believe a man had died if the car was empty, which means there had to be some sort of Stan-place holder in the driver’s seat: an effigy.
and it went up in flames.
