wax on wax off
nearly spit my coffee,
ok so all these guys who are like “men have it hard too!!! we’re expected to be manly and emotionless, we have feelings!!!” do realize that it’s other men who enforce those standards on guys. literally guys created those standards to be more powerful than women. so maybe instead of getting angry at girls for talking about their oppression, realize that you should be fighting with girls against unfair gender expectations and inequality
[New Doctor to take over the Tardis?]
“With Series 10 looming, and with it the end of Peter Capaldi’s run of the Tardis, the BBC is already looking out for the Doctor’s next face. Leaked images show an unknown actor in a particular blue suit…”
What? Already? Hasn’t he only been the doctor for 2 years?
Well, if you read the article, it clearly states that Capaldi is the Doctor for season 10 as well. So he has time.
my sister-in-law, who has no kids and does not spend time around children ever, decided she wanted to take my kids on an “outing” yesterday. (she sees them like 4 times a year usually). she took them to some weird historical u.s. military fort museum thing, it’s like a big compound with like 15 buildings enclosed by a fence. anyway my 5-yr-old saw one of those red metal fire alarm boxes on the wall and asked his aunt “what does that say?”
now the correct answer to this question, in my opinion, would be “that is a fire alarm. we only touch fire alarms if there is a fire. if there is a fire, you would pull the handle and it would make a very loud noise so that other people know to get out of the building.”
according to several reliable sources, my sister-in-law’s answer to the question was, “it says ‘pull.’”
so anyway that’s how they managed to evacuate all 15 buildings at the museum and why this is probably their last “outing” for a while.
Did Jordin Sparks ever figure out how to breathe with no air
when was the last time u heard anything about jordin sparks. i rest my case
I don’t know if I ever told y'all about this, but my great-grandma Vera was a painter; she painted mostly landscapes her whole life. She taught me how to paint and draw and she was really important to me as a kid. She passed away at the age of 98 a few weeks ago. A few days before she died, I found this painting in my room. When I asked my grandma (her daughter) about it, she told me the story. Apparently, my grandmother and her parents were on nuclear lockdown at some point-some kind of practise test or something (this was deep into the Cold War, and even in canada shit was looking grim). My great grandma Vera, being the incredible optimist she was, painted this landscape of what she imagined the world would look like after what they then thought was the inevitable nuclear blasts. It was really chilling to me, stepping out into the Glowing Sea in fallout 4. The similarities between that and the painting are uncanny. It’s easy to forget how close to reality that nuclear Hellscape has come before.
