Am I the only one insanely bothered by the fact that they all have the same face and one person’s standardized perception of beauty based on that particular face
all the men have the same jawline
as far as I’m concerned it just looks like “sexy people dressing up as disney characters” and not actually the characters themselves
All their unique traits were just tossed out the window in favor of making them attractive and I find that really… I dunno, offputting. Because those traits COULD have been made attractive but no, gotta give them all the same sexyface.
Gotta make all those big women skinny. All the older men young. The guy who’s main point of his design is to be bulky? Nah, he’s gotta be like the rest too.
Queen of Hearts is the biggest issue for me because frankly, on her own, she’s just the Queen of Hearts.
She is not DISNEY’S Queen of Hearts. Nothing about her is the same except the designs on her dress. That’s it.
I agree.
I also really don’t like that Frolo looks like a teen because he’s supposed to be a decrepit old man and Ursula looks too much like her sister when she’s skinny.
So this girl walks up to another girl and says “Hey, have you heard of the Bechdel Test?”
And the other girl says, “Yeah, my boyfriend was telling me about it the other day!”
SIT DOWN.
i don’t get it
I feel like this is an inside joke that I am not getting
FUCK
It should work, right?
At first I was thinking “Awe, the cubone wants to see if they can make a pokemon out of the skull he wears.” then I remembered why they wear the skull and was like “Ow, my heart”
In my neighborhood live families of buddhists, christians, islam, even a paganist.
It doesn’t cause problems because this is fucking 2015 and there’s absolutely no need to throw a hissy fit about this kind of thing anymore.
This is a random tangent rather than a direct reply… But isn’t pagan an insulting term used by Christians to bundle all the old religions together as “dumbass heretics”?
Just kinda weird they’re cool with rolling with that label insteada going with whatever the name of their actual specific religion is, is all I’m saying.
Actually I’m pretty sure “pagan” was the original term and the christians just started misusing both their name and many of their symbols (like the pentagram) because they were just assholes like that.
On the subject of missused symbols, the upsidown cross is actually called the st peters cross because he demanded that he be crucified upside-down so that he does not die in the same manner of his savior. An upside-down cross is a symbol of respect towards jesus.
