If anybody tries to tell you that Ferguson is full of crazy rioters and looters and animals and the police response is justified, show them this. Then please slap them for me.
Am I the only one who thinks people saying that white people should all go to hell and that they hate them because of what others did to them is really stupid. Going into a Ferguson livestream and seeing posted repeatedly ALL WHITE PEOPLE DIE. I know all this crap is going on but oh my god generalization is such a huge pet peeve of mine. For any subject. People are just so damn hateful!
Now I’m going to emphasize that this is my opinion and that if you have any urge to tell me to shut up or insult me, I’d advise leaving my blog and coming back in a month or so. I’m not fond of people who generalize. Even if there is something really messed up going on right now.
You have a right to your own feelings but I honestly think that if you meet a stranger and automatically hate them because of their skin color you’ve got a bit of a mental problem. For any race. I’m not disappointed in white people. I’m disappointed in the ones hurting others and agreeing to the darren wilson trial outcome. I don’t feel ashamed to be my skin tone. Because I’m not defined by my skin tone. I’m not “white” I’m “Bird”. I just seriously think people are going off the deep end here.
White people are not the problem, racists are
Police are not the problem, people who abuse their power are
Attacking everyone, even people who are trying to help, just because of their skin tone or profession is just going to make things worse. Instead of focusing anger on general people, focus it on the problem.
There are white people helping. There are cops who feel unclean when they put their badge on because of these events.

But USA has a stand-your-ground law, so there is that.
Except when there’s a no warrant assault in the middle of the night that involves an officer coming through your window in stealth gear. Then it’s your fault if you shoot and kill him. I mean, it’s not like it’s hard to see and some person just broke into your home brandishing deadly weapons.
