Let’s talk about my country and censorship.
The Dutch aren’t nearly as censor-happy as the Americans. The American mentality seems to be “SHIELD OUR CHILDREN FROM ALL THIS FILTH.” The Dutch mentality goes more like “Introduce our children to these concepts early so they’re well educated by the time they’re adults.” We don’t encourage early swearing or sex, we just educate, so they know what they’re getting into, just in case.
As a result, sex ed is given very early in Dutch schools, censor bleeps are nowhere to be found on Dutch television, and it’s not uncommon for the average Dutch piece of literature to have a well-detailed sex scene in it.
On one hand, this makes things like teenage pregnancies nearly a non-issue in this country. On the other, having grown up in such an open culture, many Dutch people are very forthcoming with information that foreign people might think are a bit personal. We also swear a lot.
Like. A lot.
Another problem is that american sex ed is just a bunch of idiots coming in, showing pictures of genital warts and telling you if you have premarital sex, you will die. So don’t have sex.
They don’t educate about sex. They tell you not to do it. As a result, people don’t know how to sex safely or properly.

this is probably the most effort i’ve put into something ever honestlyAnyways, here’s my contribution to the massive amount of fanart that has been surfacing for the animated video of “Ghost” by Mystery skulls, made by mysterybensmysteryblog ! I really liked the video so I felt like I had to draw something for it too, but, well. it ended up being a little bit more complicated than planned and this is the result of it :V
