So if they cold weather gets here because Persephone is going back to her husband does that mean that these random really warm days are ones where Hades fucks up and Persephone spends the night at her mother’s until he gets his act together?

well it’s not quite persephone, it’s demeter. It gets cold because demeter misses her daughter and gets warm because she’s happy she’s with her daughter. The cold days in summer could be the days where persephone visits her husband and the warm days in winter could be when she just goes to have lunch with her mother.
