Most presidents enter a “lame duck” phase in their last year.
Obama has instead entered a “I don’t give a fuck” phase, and I like it.
They may be villans. They may have hurt a lot of people. They may be vicious broken monsters.
But Bruce still cares about them. No matter what, they are still human to him. He does NOT excuse their behavior, but he still wants to see them get better and become good people.
And this is why this is my favorite Batman.

I like to think that during his entire journey, the fire nation are looking for the avatar but keep overlooking Saitama ‘cause he doesn’t look that strong and assumes he dresses the way he does because he must be an Avatar fanatic or something (”must be from Kyoshi island”) When the world is saved in the end, nobody knows who did it and assume it was the combined efforts of the Kyoshi warriors and the Dai Li or something.
