Well, the trick that is really usefull is that the second colour is basically the negative space. So what I do is hard to put in words but easy to do in practice.
I use basic shapes like circles and curved lines to make hte frame in red and then I draw with the track pad (I’m on a laptop right now) in black. Then I select the main colour to be red and secondary colour to be white and erase with right click.
This makes the red frame be the only thing erased and leaves the black lines where they are. Then I use the bucket tool to get a majority of the spots correct.
To get the small spaces, I use the eraser trick in reverse. I make white the main colour and I make the secondary colour be the proper colour and erase.
Shading is done in the same way where the secondary colour is just a darker version of the main colour.
In essence, the eraser tool is my best friend.
I want my art to be spread across the seven seas!
WHICH IS THE EXACT SAME THING THAT VETS DO!
THEY PUT ANIMALS DOWN BECAUSE THERE ISN’T ENOUGH ROOM AND RESOURCES FOR THEM
STOP CRITICIZING PETA FOR WHAT YOUR OWN VETERNARIANS DO!
PETA HAS DONE LOTS OF SHITTY THINGS BUT KILLING ANIMALS WHEN THERE IS NO ROOM/RESOURCES FOR THEM JUST LIKE VETS DO SHOULD NOT BE CRIMINALIZED
That’s the thing, no one is criminalizing them. Or saying they should be. But this is their dirty laundry, and the world deserves to see it aired!
PETA actually “rescues” pets from their owners before killing them. Vets wait until the animal is really old and already on the verge of death before getting consent from the owner.
Uhhh… The way Doctor Who is written now I’m not sure if it’s exactly as friendly to newcomers as it used to be. But if they want, they can. They’re just going to miss out on a LOT of references. I mean a lot.
A good place to START would be the beginning of the new who with eccleston and then when they are caught up, they can go back and start from the very beginning with hartnel.
I finally stopped getting notes on my GoG picture and then zeroyalviking decides it would be a good idea to reblog it.
