so unless youve commissioned them, leave them the fuck alone.
which, by the way, brings me to another point: even if you’ve commissioned an artist, it does not turn them into a magic art vending machine. artists are still people and can decline your request, even if you offer to pay them. if you are rude, request something they’ve specified they dont/cant draw, or they are overloaded, or whatever their reason, they reserve the right to turn away requests and commissions, even if it’s because they just don’t feel like it. they have the right to do whatever they want with their talents. they’ve worked hard to polish them. you did not. and just because you “commissioned them that one time when they were broke” doesn’t mean they owe you free art now or whatever other ridiculous, entitled shit. they are people who have a unique talent that you do not possess. they deserve your respect.
tldr; stop harassing artists because you feel entitled to their art

If you feel offended at what Steven universe writers said, then you’re the kind of person that they’re talking about. It’s okay to have a personal preference or head canon of what someone looks like for is into, but ultimately it’s not up to you to dictate what someone else draws.
Honestly, this fandom always manages to sink lower. It really is the worst fandom I’ve ever seen. Even worse than superwholock and Homestuck.
