What transmysoginy is is people saying that a person cannot be trans unless they have the correct body shape or unless they can pass as their gender.
Saying a man simply wearing a dress is transmysoginistic is in itself transmysoginistic because it’s saying people with that bodytype, even trans women with unfortunate bodies, cannot be trans.
This episode is so sweet it’s got me tearing up. It’s hitting home for me SO HARD because of southern junk and family. It’s showing a freaking brother who is willing to dress in drag for his little sister because he wants so badly to make her happy, something not a lot of men would DREAM of doing for their families. It’s EXACTLY like Mrs. Doubtfire, which is about a man who dresses up in drag to pose as a nanny and be closer to his kids because he loves them so much and doesn’t want to lose them due to a divorce.
And all people can yell is “TRANS!”
I mean I don’t have a problem with trans people, y'all know that, but seeing the way this flimsy shit undermines the ENTIRE MORAL OF FAMILY DOING ANYTHING FOR EACH OTHER is just gross. Especially since at the end of the episode they go WAY OUT OF THEIR WAY to explain exactly why Big Mac did what he did. Seriously the fact that all people do is yell about how “Oh Big Mac wore a dress he must be trans!” or “Oh Big Mac wore a dress that’s SUPER insulting to trans people! It’s stupid bullshit.
If you look at Big Mac it’s obvious he’s not trans when he puts this on. He’s acting, going over the top with an old rich southern stereotype to get Apple Bloom that ribbon. And somehow this means he’s trans or offending trans people, which isn’t the point. By seeing only this people are missing the ENTIRE POINT of the episode, and quite possibly THE biggest development in Big Mac’s character EVER.

Trans woman here. Big mac in a dress is NOT offensive because he wasn’t making fun of us. Hell, the onyl reason people were acting weird around him is because they all KNEW it was him. If anything it was pro trans because despite them still being a little weird, they still let him do his thing. The only problems that came up was when he destroyed the equipment.
But that’s not even the point of the episode or something that was intentional. The whole reason for this episode was to show how much big mac feels left out. How he wants to be in the appleblooms hero sometimes.

Lembas Bread (Lord of the Rings “authentic” Elvish bread)
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups of flour 1 tablespoon of baking powder ¼ teaspoon of salt ½ cup of butter 1/3 cup of brown sugar 1 teaspoon of cinnamon ½ teaspoon honey 2/3 cup of heavy whipping cream ½ teaspoon of vanilla
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425F. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl. Add the butter and mix with a well till fine granules (easiest way is with an electric mixer). Then add the sugar and cinnamon, and mix them thoroughly.
Finally add the cream, honey, and vanilla and stir them in with a fork until a nice, thick dough forms.
Roll the dough out about ½ in thickness. Cut out 3-inch squares and transfer the dough to a cookie sheet.Criss-cross each square from corner-to-corner with a knife, lightly (not cutting through the dough).
Bake for about 12 minutes or more (depending on the thickness of the bread) until it is set and lightly golden.
***Let cool completely before eating, this bread tastes better room temperature and dry. Also for more flavor you can add more cinnamon or other spices***

So every 10th post on my dash for the last week has been about Wallpart, encouraging people to check the site to see if their artwork is being stolen and then to file a DCMA at the bottom and to sign a petition.
Don’t visit the site.
Don’t file a DCMA.
The website basically uses google image search when you punch in your name. There isn’t an actual working store on the site; no one can actually buy your art through this site.
So what’s the purpose of the site? When you file a DCMA you have to enter several pieces of personal information. Personal information which can then be sold to companies. It is a phishing scam, like those survey sites or contests. It’s just targeted at artists because artists are very protective of their work.
And if you stopped and thought about it, you’d realize how obvious this is. Especially since we already went through all of this months ago back in June. It exploded, everyone reblogged it, some folks actually did some investigating and found out that most of the links on the site don’t work and that you can’t actually buy anything from the store, actual reporters researched it, and it died down. Also; do you know how big of a file you would need to print a poster? Did you put a file that big online? 90% of you haven’t, which means any site that tried to print your stuff would have a blurry mess on the page.
So to summarize;
Your art isn’t being stolen.
Don’t visit the site.
Don’t file a DCMA.
Stop reblogging posts telling people to check the site for their art.
Do a google search about the site before posting about it.
